Air Racing and the Red Bull Factor!
Air racing is an up and coming motorsport and has drawn fans from around the world as spectators at the numerous events sponsored by red bull every year. The production and promotional value of these races exceeds the race itself in terms of fan base, but loyalty to the sport is building. Drivers have become increasingly respected in the field of driving and technology has allowed these pilots to push the limits of the engines capacity along with the cooperation of their teams of mechanics and engineers.
Due to the locations selection and site diversity, the red bull air races have made the sport popular across the world. Once only popular in Europe, air races are now well known on continents and in countries around the world. The only limitation here is that, due to safety and spectators concerns, the races locations have been limited to coastal or water side locations. AS a result, the fan base is primarily made up of tourist or wealthy individuals in coastal communities and the local fans as well. Because the events are free to observe along the coast line, air races reach millions of new spectators a year.
The events offer exclusive rights to renowned and contracted photographers who, in basic terms, are paid by promoters to provide professionally contracted photographer services. These pros generally carry a long lense and short lense, two cameras, at all times, and are given locations by the promoters. Additionally, helicopter photographers are contracted, providing incredible views of the site and the race, and various distances.
